Dear Sirs,

One of my checks was returned marked "insufficient funds".
In view of current developments in the banking market, does that refer to me or to you?

Sincerely,

The Kansan

Dear Mr. The Kansan,

Upon receipt of your as foremention letter concerning your account we have froze your checking account. A processing fee has been applied due to insufficient funds. Your account did not have sufficient funds to pay the processing fee; therefore, we have applied a penalty fee due to insufficient funds. This has been reported to all three credit agencies.

Sincerely,

Vice President of Customer Service

P.S. Have a very Merry Christmas

Speaking as one of the newly employed banking industry regulators
of the next Administration. I am happy to see such issues between bank and client occur. It means my desk will soon be piled high with complaints of both.

I have to validate to some measure my employment to the government and the American people so I can seek my 6% annual pay raise. Again thank you both for a Merry Employed Christmas.

Dear Mr The Kansan,

There must be some mistake!

I sent your bank a few million/billion dollars from federal funds and they were very happy.

Thet sent me a nice Christmas card, and an invitation to go on the bank's luxury company yacht whenever I feel like it (I'll be retiring soon!) - maybe if you send them somebody else's money they'll treat you good too!

Yours faithfully,

G.W.B.
