Started the year with a broken ankle. Hospitalized in Jan and again in March Had a fabulous Feb. houseboat vacation. Moved to Seattle in late August. Became a first time grandmom in Sept.
Currently - stranded for 3 days on a hill in a city that rarely gets snow, has no snow equipment, and is expecting another three days/nights of snow.
Won't bore everyone but in general a painful and sad year, BUT have met some fantastic and genuine people from CS that have got me thro a very difficult time and been there for me. Starting a new life in Jan and can't wait.

As usual a mix of everything good and bad but i take it in my stride. Life behind white picket fences does not seem to be for me - and like a good Buddhist should, i've learnt some valuable lessons as hopefully i will continue to do, till i exhale for the last time some day.

mike69spain: This is the year when all turned back to normal, where I got my life back and I for the first time in five years look forward to next year.
I will remember 2008 as the proof that everything is possible.
dear Mike,i also had one year like you,but 1o years ago,and really everything is possible..
alexxwalker: alot has happened to me this year i lost 3 people i really loved just hope in 2009 everything gets better
It will. A while back I lost my home to a hurricane and in that same year I lost my only brother to cancer, my Mother to a heart problems and my wife to cancer. I do believe that time heals all pain. It doesn't go away, but it will get beter.
