Yep....what goes around, comes around as they say. Seems like earlier in their marriage, he donated a kidney to her. Now they are divorcing.

Yep....just like the battle of who gets the dog, the parrot, the gold fish....the question is here....who gets the kidney.

Before you go saying...boy is he crast....maybe you are already there....US Divorce laws are set up to make a party hole as they were coming into the marriage. And having only one kidney, he might see it fail in the future. He came into the marriage with two kidneys and now only has one.

I could have maybe placed this in humor. But the bigger
picture and issue....is that modern medicine is effecting
our lives...jointly and singularly much more these days.

Thought and comments?

A kidney is not considered property. The case will be thrown out.

Ridiculous, divorce law just gets dafter...

However, I can see his point, health is our best asset, so therefore, I can see that he may be concerned that he gave up a part of his body.

But in all fairness, will she then have to go back on dialysys?

I had never had that problem, once the children were fought over, it was down to the canteen of cutlery and the cast iron frying pans, of the courtroom was carnage.

I am assuming, that the lawyers will make a mint, the judge will decide what is in the best interests of both parties, and he will make a judgement based on medical evidence.

I think the key word here is donated. He donated it to her which does not imply a contract. Just as a person donation to a charitable organization does not giver that donor the right to control that organization

He'll lose this case so now he's short one kidney but his broken heart should mend.

thumbs up yes it will be, but if he has done nothing wrong and has her own money, I hope he can take her through the ringer..

because this is the third kidney given to her and it seems as though she isn't even somewhat greatfull...I would have to qualms if things were not working out, and she divorced him...but that is not what happened...

Anywho lessons learned often pay a price...

Not sure any women would want one of my kidneys, they are bound to resemble a pair of grapes,of the red variety.
