I think sometimes younger women are more likely to say they don't want children but I wouldn't let that deter you from dating them. Sometimes it takes us a few years to realize we really do want children in our lives, whether they are planned or not planned.

When I was in my early and mid-twenties I always swore that I didn't want any children of my own but once I was 28 my point of view changed. My first child was not planned and my second child was - now all I can think is just how boring my life would be without both of them. I live every second for them - children help you realize just how important the little things in life are. Their excitement, innocence and unconditional love makes everything worthwhile.

Enough of me babbling, just know not to give up entirely on all the young ladies out there who say they don't want children initally. Of course I do realize some of them may never change their minds and may be just as happy without children but some of us can become wonderful mothers and just need a little extra time to realize it.

I think question of want to have children or no is one of the most important question you need to ask the potential future partner. If both agreed then it will be no problem.
I still think it is enough raison to make decide for or for the start of relationship.

I do really sympathise and feel for this man or women who can’t have children even if they want. The only thing I can say, I hope they can adopt some one who will make fill that emptiness in their live.

I already have a child, so yes, I could get involved with someone who didn't want children. In fact, i'm 22, and I don't know if I want another. If I had no kids and really wanted them, ya I might still date the person but I wouldn't be thinking it as long-term/lasting unless they changed their mind. You either can give up the idea of children, or find somebody who can give it to you. The choice is whatever is easier.

When I was younger, I always KNEW that I would be a mom....unfortunately, to this day, I am not....

however, I would LOVE the idea of having at least one! My timer is ticking BUT I do not lose hope....

Funny thing is that men my age have already HAD their kids and don't want anymore....and I do....THAT causes a problem, with me anyways...... cause I cannot be with someone whom does not want to share in that joy with me....

so really, it isn't all about the YOUNGER women not wanting kids but moreso, the OLDER ones who do!

I think that when we are young, we want to "explore the world" and all it has to offer....may it be travelling, dating, living life to the fullest or just getting a career on track....as we get older, the thought of a child does cross our minds...but that usually happens when we DO meet someone and feel that this is the person whom we want to live the rest of our lives with...and with what better addition than a child!

JMO!

cheers

I must admit, when I was younger, I never thought I would be a mom one day. I just could not see myself in that role. I was not even interested in kids. I had my first child at the age of 26 and my second when I was 31! I do not know what I would do without them. I would be so lonely sometimes, especially being single. Kids are sometimes challenging but so much worth it! So, if you meet a young woman who says she does not want children, give her a chance anyway. I am sure if you are right for each other, she may contemplate having children with you one day, like I did with the father of my children.

Good luck in your search.
