Words are hollow...when your actions don't fill them. Talking the talk is much different than walking the walk....in the immortal words of The Rock....."Don't sing it, Bring it"

Actions--because too often I've seen words manipulated and twisted, heard them ring hollow, heard them with a smile on the face and a dark heart...give me actions--a gentle touch, a kiss, a smile that matches your eyes, your energy, yourself.

Common sense would dictate that the cliche "actions speak louder than words" would be the case.
But there are exceptions to every rule. Some are clueless as how to show "action". Some are so linguistically poignant that their words ARE louder.

Actions follow by words! I would be hypocrite if I don't say that once in a while a kind, sweet word follow by action, is needed. I need both if they are true. There is never totally black or totally white, a balance is always good.

Uuuuugh, I'm back to defend my personality type. lol
I'm not overly expressive or romantic, and not especially verbal. But when I'm overwhelmed with feeling or passion on ANY subject, I can write. Doesn't make my feelings any less if I need to put it in a letter.
And Abra, as an example, I'd rather hear his words ANY day, then see him show up with flowers.

But most someone be blessed with poetic prose to incite that emotion, Windy? Words are words. Gallantly spoken, well written, thoughtful or insightful don't amount to so much trash in the landfill if they are not reinforced through actions. A person could be incredibly gifted with an ability to communicate the myriad of human emotions through scripted or spoken words, and have no idea to project that emotion through their actions.

gotta have a blend of both worlds.
guy can be the most honorable guy in the world...but if he isn't capable of telling my why he did whatever he did...it loses a bit.
i mean...i want insight into how my man thinks...i want to see his wheels turn...

That is true, know it by experience, I knew someone, great guy, we seem so much alike, sometimes even think the same thing at the same time, but when it came to the action part, did not match his words. Probably it was not ment to be.
It is not too difficult to pass by him/her and with a tender touch on her chick and say, "you look so nice today", or "I love you", "I am glad your here", "I miss you", few words, simple words, follow by a simple action, is the best.
