Hello friends. I am back on-line now, FINALLY, after relentless Internet/computer problems.

Sorry I missed the last meeting in Galway (organized by ‘thecount‘). I stood at the bar in Skeffington’s but could not recognize anyone from the pics on the website. How did it go? Hope a new romance was born.

I would now like to invite C.Singles Ireland members to a good cause/educational event in County Clare this coming weekend. (Saturday Nov 18th) Sorry short notice.

The good cause is in support of the Shell to Sea Campaign. If anyone is interested, the venue is (upstairs) at Mrs O'Brien's Kitchen in the village of Lahinch.

There will be Films, Music and Dance from 8 until late ... So come along, learn and have a ball!

For ID purposes I will be wearing a Connecting Singles Badge, so if you spot me, please introduce your self.

BTW Lahinch is a beautiful coastal town with superb surfing beaches, bring yer board - I will shout instructions from the safety of the beach.. lol

Hello Cheyin, sorry I missed it. Why do I ALWAYS miss-out on these things? All the beautiful women too, and yerself included - but none my age. Where are all the over 45s Are they at home each night staring at four lonely walls as I do? This is why the Lahinch gig is good - for me anyway - if no chance for romance, at least I can channel my energies into helping our brothers and sisters in Co Mayo.

Aw, StPat - only one person going has ever skated before. It'll be a great way to break the ice - on pun intended!! Anyway, it's only for an hour, and we're going for a meal afterwards, so should be good night.

Ah Munichkin2, that’s great, I always arrive exactly one hour late everywhere I go (bad habit I know) so where is the meal taking place?

Probably Bewley's Hotel, just around the corner - they do a reasonably priced early bird, and it's a nice hotel - would be a good place to stay as well lol!!
