Have you ever emailed the wrong person when "multi-tasking" (7)
4U1864: It's bad enough calling them the wrong name. Easy to do when your flying between screens. But has any one sent a totally inappropriate email to the wrong person entirely?
What about clicking on their dialog box losing it then you have no idea what they just said?
Did you fess up or bluff your way out of it?
I've heard of others with these issues, not experienced them myself.... being... like ... new to this

i would fess up as i cant tell a lie to save me life......and i too have called others by a different name, its really bad when it your ex......i get away with my sons names as i have 5 of them but an ex is really rotten....
was once on a national comittee and was a little ticked off at one of the people on it- emailed the president, nothing nasty just a bit of a moan, and realised it was a group emailing- was sweating till i got hold of her and found out that that particular email would only be seen by her.. Will NEVER do that again- I may make many mistakes, but i do learn form them!!

actually happened a few weeks back. wrong name, wrong message...when i realised what i had just done, i didn't waste time and apologised.
good thing he was cool about it.

It's happened to me at work...I sent an email to my co-worker complaining about my supervisor...and actually sent it to my supervisor instead...
I had to have my friend create a diversion to lure my boss away from her computer long enough for me to go into her inbox and delete it.
It was horrible, I was shaking so much! Think this is probebly one for the "worse thing I've ever done" thread...like jampet..I learned to never ever write a bad email about another person again....I was only 27 at the time so..was quite young..hopefully that give me some grace..lol
