Will visit my Mam in the morning then home for dinner. I always cook Christmas dinner at home, some years have family over but this year just me and the children.

Cooking dinner and then will probably be on here while watching telly. Kids will disperse to their own rooms to do their own thing.
No visitors and nowhere to go. Looking forward to the build up, work party, shopping etc. But the day itself will be just like any other day really.

Will go to a friends after dinner to exchange presents and have a few drinks then that evening to another friends to do more of the same. In other words eat, drink and be very merry lol

awh ye know i was in the same rut this year as i always went to my parents 4 dinner but i dont speak to my mother.i was gonna be on my own but i invited my friend for dinner instead cos there is such a build up 2 it i knew id spend the day in bed depressed otherwise,and a word of advise from a certain lady here made me turn the day around so come on vonny n wex invite ur friends round for drinks in the evening to take the boredom outta it

thats sounds good.i usually hate xmas ,some of the girls in work have got me looking forward to it this year.i stay at home with the kids for xmas.go to my mams on stephens day along with the rest of my family.
sister coming over with her foster child from liverpool and my other sister and her child are coming to mine for dinner but were having duck this year so it should be fun

They sure are am also lucky that my kids are friendly with my mates kids so have no problem coming with me.

Up to last year a friend and I alternated Christmas day. This year was to be my turn. But we had a falling out in February that we couldn't resolve.
My family and other friends live in Dublin and have their own families around them. My work friends all have their own families too. So you see there isn't actually anybody to invite.
Did think about going away for Christmas but its way too expensive. So will get a bottle of vodka and watch some films and (with the help of the vodka) convince myself that I'm not lonely.
As I said, same as any other day (except for the vodka...that's usually only weekends).
Will make dinner,for me and the daugthers,the sons also come for xams dinner,and also the sons g,f and of course,,my we grand son,,will be here to,his first xmas,,
mind you,he be to small to eat any turkey
Love xmas and the build up to it,,but find it a kind of boring day,after the dinner is over,but as i always say,as long as the kids enjoy it,that wot matters

with the lads and my daughters will come over for the gift opening.......... I think it will be their last year
they both asked me was there really a Santa. I told them yes there was............. the question is "who is santa not is there a Santa......... i fit into the red suit very well these days 
then I will have brunch with the kids as they are going to their dads for dinner this year. so I'm going to my sisters.........................

I always drive Christmas night with my santa outfit on in the car when im going to drop down the prezzies to the kids mums and it really freaks other drivers out (11pm to 3am time) lol, but i see more of them doing it these last few years too............
Christmas day when i bring the boys to mine i get them to wear their scooby dooby doo costumes in the car and they pretend their reindeers and im santa ..........im gonna hate it when they get bigger

this yr wil be d same as every other for the past 4 yrs.. wake up about 5. am. run the kids back to bed for a couple of hours...
get up do the pressies hav breckie . visit mam and dad. meet the siblings . back home cook dinner. clean up . again..
