Ok people this is the official 50 book challenge thread

The challenge officially starts on this date ==è 17: November 2008 (although you can join in any time you like)

Rules

1. Read 50 books in one year (or you can pick a number of books that suit’s your self just declare the number of books on this thread )


That’s really the only rule

Once you read a book post it and it’s number (ie , book 12 catcher in the rye) in this thread with a brief description (ie what’s written on the cover ) and let us know what you thought of it ( please no spoilers)


You can read any book you want although I would encourage you to try and include some books that challenge you,

1. Just finished ''Niall Quinn The Autobiography''
Really liked it and if you are into all the Saipan saga this is for you. Well written by Tom Humphries (the times ). Half of it is about the World Cup in Japan / South Korea and the rest is about himself growin up and the kids he played for. For or against Roy Keane it gives some great insights. Only for sports lovers I would say. Next.

Hi book worms grin Finished Russell Brand's autobiography (don't normally read them but thought his would be fun ansd interesting) . Was long dull and boring yawn was so disappointed thumbs down Have several good ones lined up so hope I pick wisely tonight ...... wave

it gave a great account of life when there was leprosy and german occupation in greece. I d highly recommend it.A

To Kill a mocking bird a great classic probably my favourite book of all times

The book thief will be a classic .................... it is so well written and a beutiful story line
