Absolutely---I want to take your breath away, to curl your toes, to make your spine tingle from top to bottom, to sensuously communicate with my lips on yours that you are desired, and to make you absolutely quiver with anticipation that another kiss will follow
I've bombed on dates, simply cuz I didn't kiss em goodnight (their friend told me why there was no second date) if they're telling the truth. My problem is that I'm "old fashioned", opening doors, paying for the date, flowers, the whole deal, and apparently, some girls think that is dorky.
I don't think is dorky, I think is very sweet. Sometimes I see guys carrying flower on the street for the special one and always make me smile.
About first date kiss, can't really give my opinion on that one, I haven't have many of those, but I guess a kiss on the cheek will do, depending on how the date went. I don't kiss just anybody; I am really selected and old fashion.
I wouldn't say that you have "bombed" on dates if a girl is so shallow to consider not getting a kiss that you are not worth seeing again. Just keep on doing what your doing and being yourself because there will be a wonderful girl who will appreciate your thoughtfulness one day. I don't consider anything that you have written about how you treat a date as being "dorky", but actually truly wonderful.

I wholeheartedly agree. The fella I'm dating now took 5 dates before I got a kiss...I was dying to know what it would be like, and you know, it was totally worth the wait!

This is a two sided sword if ever there was one. On one hand, I most definitely want that kiss goodnight. On the other hand, sweet innocent can turn heated and passionate on a dime. When, and if, they turn passionate, just might end up with hurt feelings and a bruised ego if that's where it ends. I would like to think I could have that sweet kiss goodnite and go home with something nice to dream about.
It's not dorky to pay for the date, all the guy stuff you guys do is fantastic. If you feel like a kiss is going to be pushy to her, you could just ask her, can I kiss you goodnight? OR you can say, I would like to see you again, would you consider going out with me again? If she says yes, definitely give her a kiss. Doesn't have to be down the throat, but a show of affection and looking forward to seeing her again.
Ah! The importance and the softness of a first goodnight kiss, the sweetness of the present and the dreams of possible future desires, the spark that lights the eternal fire of love …
The intermingling of togetherness, so much can hinge upon the meaning of the first kiss …Is it just a prelude for random passion … just an affair or … is it more…A blending of personalities, a chemistry reaction which could eventual lead to a surrender … I am yours, you are mine … a start of true love …
The first kiss can be the ending of a perfect first date with the after dreams of maybe I have found my soul mate. Ah! Dream on, but we shall see, what we shall see!
The kiss to start the unending kiss ... The dream of love ... JimEee
as i've taken up celibacy after my last relationship i've discovered how shallow men can be when it comes to no kissing after hanging out. most think that it's because i didn't like them, which wasn't necessarily the case, but if a guy needs that kind of indication to actually know when a girl likes him, then he's clueless about my real needs. plus from past experiences i know how a first kiss can lead to "heated" situations that perhaps may come to early... i do make it a point to tell them that we're simply hanging out and not on a "date" as i've given up "dating".
it really has shown me a whole new side of body language and how to interpret true affection. needless to say, i'm still waiting for a real gentlemen who appreciates my thoughtfulness and is alright with caring affection as opposed to FIREWORKS.
