Sometimes this is causes by your temp memory being filled. First power down your computer and re-start it. Then go into the My Documents area and do a search for your TEMP files. Most computers have multiples ones. Delete everything in there.
or you could goto my computer Right click your hard drive/drives goto propertys once the propertys pop's up it should be in the genral tab, click disk clean up. It will do a scan of your hard drive. finding old downloaded program files, temp internet files, temp files, compressed old files, and recycle bin files. There will be a few more options but the ones i listed are the ones that should be Checked and cleaned Monthly.
If anyone needs any computer related support just send me a message.
BamaBoy74: Also, what browser do you use? AOL, IE, Firefox, etc.
Yea you could also just clear your browser Cookies and it might work fine but, the way i listed in detail will help your Computer a lil bit more then browser cookie wipe.

Hi...my Windows Vista keeps freezing up on me. I have excluded Connectingsingles from pop up blocker, but it still freezes and I have to click out of the site and start over. My temp. internet files and cookie cache are clean and I have Windows Live One care center, so I know it isn't a virus.
I also got rid of all my toolbars, which I learned are a magnet for viruses. It is frustrating!!!
Anyone who can help this computer moron, I would appreciate it!!
Problem: The "Show Pictures" setting has been turned off in Internet Explorer. Solution: In Internet Explorer's Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Advanced tab. Make sure the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia, and click OK.
Problem: Your anti-virus or firewall is a little too uppity. Check to see if your anti-virus or firewall software has a privacy setting to "disable web bugs". Solution: Uncheck or turn it off. (The term "web bug" is a misnomer. They are really just harmless tiny images on a web page or email, sometimes used for tracking purposes.)
Problem: Your Internet Explorer security settings are set too high, preventing you from accessing the web site which hosts the image. Solution: Reset to the default security settings. In Internet Explorer, click on Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Default Level.
Problem: You've installed the Windows XP/SP2 updates and you're being bitten by the "Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail" security option. This is automatically turned ON in Outlook Express after you install Windows XP/SP2. Solution: Click on Tools -> Options -> Security. Then UNCHECK the "Block images and other external content" check box, and click OK.

I just ran in to the same problem since CS reformated. I have no answer, but will share it with you when I find out, and hopefully you will return the favor if you find a fix first.

I went to IE into tools> internet options>programs tab>manage add-ons or you can go directly from Tools>manage add-ons and started disabling add-ons I dont know if its gonna work or not but I'll let you know if it's better or not.

Another trick:
click the start button (bottom left), select Run type in the field: %temp%
That will give you all temporary files! When delete them, make sure they end up in the recycle bin, because some missing files can cause havoc! Just leave them there for a few days, than delete them!
