There are rare exceptions though, so be patient.

I agree with her, too. The user name implies a heavy drinker, possibly an alcoholic, especially combined with the pic. Nothing against partying...I was a wild one in my younger days, too...but do you really want that to be the main image you're projecting here? Just a thought. I agree that it would greatly hinder your response level here...both for dating, and even on forums should you wish to participate.
A good face shot for a main pic helps, too, rather than one of you that looks sideways.
