I'm not sure if I can give an answer that does not come from the heart. In a way I agree with Sparky. Hopefully he would never be foolish enough to do something so mean and cruel again. Yet as an animal lover myself and having a daughter who has raised a wolf, rottie, pit bull and now her great dane also, plus many horses, I do have very mixed feelings. There was no love shown to these animals, just torture, and I am not sure he has any remorse whatsoever for what he has done.
I am going to the Puppy Love Palace Wednesday to hopefully adopt one sheltie. It is a place that takes unwanted dogs and cats and raises them just from donations. My problem is where I am living now I am only allowed one small pet, one look at all those precious animals and my heart wii melt.
druidess6308: As it should. No offense, but a living creature is a living creature. I can't stand inhumane treatment of animals, and it signifies a person with no respect for life to me...someone cruel and unfeeling. My heart bleeds for those dogs he murdered, and tortured before he did.
No offense taken. I'm with you on inhumane treatment towards animals. I loved my pets when they were alive and I refuse to adopt another because I feel it would be inhumane to have one and not be able to spend quality time. (My job keeps me away a lot)

Thanks for the responses.
He did his time and lost so much money, but something bothers me about how much time he did. And I bet the prison was one of those country club prisons where he worked on his golf game. But I don't know if that is true...
PETA asked him to do commercials for them when this 1st happened. They wisely reconsidered and pulled their offer.

I believe he has suffered and paid his dues. Now if he can get a little humble from this and become a decent contributing member of society instead of an arrogant, entitled fool it will have been worth his while to have been imprisoned. That would be rehab at its best.

He was found guilty of animal cruelty and other charges and received a 2 year prison sentence.
He raised and fought pit bulls and other dogs on his property in Virginia. Some dogs were found lynched from tree limbs on his property.
What do you think about his release...do you think he has been rehabilitated? Did he serve enough time?
