OK, I'm not a football fan, and the last time I actually watched a game was when the Steelers won the "One for the Thumb" in Feb '06 for the '05 season.
However, I have to say that at the end when it was close, and looked like we were going to lose, and the Steelers showed their stuff and pulled that one off, I even leaped out of my seat!!!
So...it's the end of the season, and the Steelers won, and this gal who's not even a sports fan can be excited!
We just became the first franchise in history to win 6 Superbowls!
gypsykisses: to the Steelers..I remember back in the day with Terry Bradshaw and Lynn Swan...awesome games....
hockey/roundball nut now, but hafta show props to the Steelers...
I can't say that I remember those days...it's before I moved to Steelers' country.
As I said, I'm not really a fan...but I had to watch this, and I had to post it. After all, it is the team where I have made my life, and football is big here. I'll be honest and say I can only recognize about three of the players' names, though.

I've always lived in Michigan, but sometimes I go over state lines to enjoy my sports....
Oh I like some sports also --- hockey and baseball --- my favs. Don't care at all for football or basketball. Now I guess the post Super Bowl game show will go on for hours!

My sports likes are much more limited...football when the Steelers are in the Superbowl, basketball when my son is playing for his school games. That's it. Other than that, the only ones I really like are gymnastics and figure skating.
It was a good game, not like some of them have been the past few years! It was close with good plays. I was rooting for the Cardinals, but wasn't unhappy that Pittsburgh won. Great game.
Me...only a fan at Superbowl time. Otherwise, I could care less...though I do like to know we're doing well. I guess living in Steeler country is starting to rub off on me, very slowly. Very slowly. I've been here 25 years now.
