As I sit here the music box behind me started playing on its own.

the story,
My Grandmother passed 3 years ago this month,
I kept most of her dust collectors (wind up music boxes)

these have not been touched in over 2 years, sitting here next to her urn. as I was typing, one of them played the entire song once and stopped...

too freaky !!uh oh

Any freaky stories to share?

I really don't believe in ghost, thats why it is so freaky.

Maybe just a sign that there is something after we pass???

Multiple times during a day, many times during the week,

there will be a syncronicity of an unusual word that I might
be reading corresponding exactly at the moment it is said on
tv. The situations may be different where this happens but
I never fail to be amazed at how unusual this is, given the
particular unusual words or numbers.
~~
Example:
My actual birthdate corresponding at the 'time' of my birth --
with that date and time said with the same information on a late
night television show. laugh

At that time my mom was dying. I flew to be at her beside (in
another state) and while the rest of my family went to rest and
eat elsewhere for reprieve, I needed (gut feeling) to stay with mom and while they were out, she died with me there.

My mother was in bed for months. I would massage her legs, back, arms, you know keep things moving.
I hardly ever remember my dreams. Months after, I dreamt I was giving her a massage and suddenly I was consumed by her, I could even smell her. It was her way of letting me know she was, and will always be with me.

Yes.

Lots of small episodes over the years that makes one think.

I seriously believe that the human brain works in ways we still have to understand....it has capabilities that extend beyond our present awareness or scientific knowledge......

but that is just my opinion.

After my mom's death and I am at home, sitting at my computer,
I turn my head and take a sweeping look all around me, because
I smell, for no apparent and logical reason, an enveloping
fragrance of a floral scent. It was there and for no other
reason except as a sign.

My grandmother always loved birds and she had this little set of them that chirped...I got them after she had passed away back in '97...I had them put in a box in a hallway closet-about 1 year after she passed-the one started chirping in the middle of the night--for the longest time me and my daughter's could not figure out what it was and where it was coming from-went on for quite some time until I figured it out one evening...Funny thing is it ran on a small battery that had already been taken out!! Did not take me long to put the bird's out in the garage to be stored..laugh

Sometimes I know what someone is going to say/do or something is going to happen just seconds before it does. My mom hates this, cause I'll ask her a question and hear a response, but she hasn't said anything yet. So I'll be like "ok, thanks" right as she starts to answer. laugh

Agree, we never will entirely.

but this wasn't in my headdunno

the music box played for 30 seconds, hasn,t been wound or touched in a long long time?

so I guess the question I was asking is, same most of us wonder about.

What is after this life?
do people think it is possible we might be communicated to by those that have passed??

sure seems like it to me by the timing of this

It could be that we do not actually experience death, as
we think we do, but the falling away of the shell of our
body and the essense of our spirit remains. Simply a
transformation.

The scientific world is asking questions regarding what makes our dimension 'real'.........what is reality......no answers yet...just questions.....

So what if different dimensions co exist? And also in different 'time' frames? What is time? And therefore what is that is or that that was?

What if there are certain moments that these dimensions overlap?

In the enormity of the knowledge that now pervades humanity.....we are really discovering how little we know.

cheers

If they are something she loved, why not leave them out as a reminder?!

Our body 'made' by the will of our Mind provides (ed) an
excellent method of communication. Worn out it sheds and
spirit exists in an unseen dimension(s).

My mother passed away in December 2005. My daughter went into the same hospital in January 2006 to give birth to my second grandson. My sister & I went down to the cafeteria while we were waiting.

As we were walking back to the elevator, we both noticed a nurse getting into it. I waited a few seconds before pressing the button. But the elevator doors opened almost immediately, giving us the impression nobody had been there at all. And we'd BOTH seen her!

Now, when we got up to my daughter's room, we were telling her what had happened. We'd barely begun the story when she suddenly said, "It's coming!", after having been in labor all day & barely dilating. The doctor didn't even make it to the room... my grandson was born with the assistance of 2 nurses, who ran to the room.

My sister still insists that my mother was there with us for the whole thing.

My mother was half in this world and half in the other.
Her eyes were brown, when she was with us.
Her eyes were grey , when she was with others.
She would talk to the others, and we knew it.
Then she was back with us, almost pissed off.
Life has a wonderful way of letting us know we are not alone.
