Is it really worth a single male having a profile on this site? I just did a search of women within 100 miles of my zip who've been active within the past month, and the results were nearly non-existant. This can't bode well for my chances of actually meeting anybody from CS. frustrated

I mean, if somebody hasn't even checked-in to CS in over a month (and it could be years since they last checked-in, the site only counts up to a month), the odds that they'll ever check-in again are pretty unlikely I'd imagine. And I really don't relate well with people from far away who I can't actually meet for dinner and a movie or something along those lines... know what I mean? moping

Thoughts? I find it basically impossible to meet anybody I feel at all compatible with, all my friends are married and nobody knows anybody they say they could even introduce me to. Seems like every way I turn all I've been finding are dead ends... getting more than a little tired of that. And I suspect CS is not going to be any different at this point.

It's been ages since I've had a bona-fide movie and dinner date. Something wrong with that I swear.

THIS is your problem for this site! Or least mine anyways! LOL! Aside from that, give the forums a chance and be a regular poster. You're missing the chance of meeting some very precious people and new friends! Having a friend to talk to is better than not having anyone, don't you think?? Ahhhh yes, I don't even remember the last time that I had an evening out to a dinner and a movie with someone special! LOL! Do hope you will try the forums regardless.

Same thing here Michael but I have found and made great friends here. She might not be living in your same town or just a few mines away. Give it some time and enjoy the forums. You never know who you might find if you give it the chance.

Welcome to the forums,

Sorry your having a tough time so far, but you can still enjoy the forums. And there's also the option to look outside your area.

Keep posting... I've met people on this site from all over the place. You never know when, where or who.

100 miles is nothing! LOL my last partner lived 4000 miles away, relocation was in order...sadly it only lasted 10 years, but was worth it.

Keep trying!comfort wave

Sounds like you've been cheated.
Surely incompatibility has nothing to do with you.
Make sure to get your money back from CS.

I just did that same search for my area, but included that they had to have a photo & be a non smoker. Came up with 4...2 of the same guy & one who probably isn't really in this area because he's put california, california....and the 4th guy is really specific in what he's looking for....a Scorpio woman between 31 & 35 either white or native american. Counts me out on two out of three...lol I'm Gemini/49/white/cherokee/comanche/plus some...lol

It can be disheartening, I know..... tenacity is often the name of the game. Don't automatically assume its anything to do with you. There have been some positive responses here, I hope you take their input on board?

Take no notice of Tumtum... roll eyes I have got to know many people here over quite some time and the majority are all only too happy to help where they can. The Forums is a good way of inter-acting and, in turn, it can maximise your chances further.

Good luck to you! handshake
