I have a 17 year old daughter and she is on the Contraceptive Pill for nearly a year now.
It is not something that just happened. Myself and My ex wife and our daughter discussed it in depth for a couple of months before decinding that it was the correct thing to do.

My daughter and i had the same conversation, she said she wouldn't be in need for quite a while......I was 17 once also, so i remind her about once a month that we have options.

I have a son who is nearly 15 and I would be recommending he use preventitive measures but somehow its diff with my Daughter....... I know it doesnt make sense but I want to strangle the boyfriend sometimes............

I think its brilliant that we are able to talk to our daughter about it. I hear some horror stories about seperation, but we have always communicated so well when it comes to our children.....
