I go without mine all the time...I usually forget to charge it and find out the battery doesn't last for quite a week...the other day I remembered...plugged it in to charge and the charger wasn't plugged in when I went to get it...Ohhhh well if someone wants to get ahold of me bad enough they'll figure it out...

I'd say at any givin time,,,looking around while driving at least 50% of drivers in view have a cell phone pasted to they're head ( get a blue tooth ),,thats both men and women,,,yes I'd give both of mine up for a day

No...as a cell phone today is what a land line was ten years ago. Many people use their cell for business as well as for social reasons. Cells are an integral part of life now.

The cell I had before moving up here was provided by the hospital and I couldn't give it out.
The house here has a phone that I can use if I need to, it just isn't my number.

I try to remember to take my cell phone with
me anytime I'm in my car. I feel much better
being able to call AAA if I need to (or 911).
I don't use my cellphone to chatter on, though.
Even at home I use MagicJack as a primary home
phone. It is a tiny little phone modem that
goes through my computer. Costs next to
nothing/year to use it. I never get any kind
of solicitors calling me. When I get a phone
call it is only from my friends or family-always.
To answer you question, though, I won't go in
the car without it. But there have been days
when I don't use my cell phone. (Maybe even
months.)
