Twittwoo: Well my two year old has just recovered from a vomitting bug and seems to have generously passed it on to me

Been sick a few times since yesterday but the worst by far is the constant nausea and aching in my body

So I have tried drinking flat 7 up, ginger biscuits and dry crackers, none of these help oh and also tried motilium fast melts and no joy either

Have any of you any old wives tales that can help this nauseus feeling as I don't want to miss college tomorrow or any day for that matter. much appreciated xx

I was the same last week, never felt as sick in my life! Someone suggested 'Ginger Ale' it worked like magic.

LusciousLibra: Flat Cole (the real stuff, not the imitation)

Tried it myself and it really works. Something to do with the caffeine, sugar and the 'secret' ingredient in the mix.

Was recommended to me by my GP years ago.

Yip when you are dehydrated your electrolytes are low so the quickest way to replace them is in the form of coke or 7up and flat as its gentle on the stomach.

Sports drinks are good as well as they have a bit of salt in them too, and they taste much better than that diorilyte stuff.
