thats a tough one, grew up with the simpsons but have been sucked into family guy the last few years....oh and futurama

Unreservidly "Family Guy", any satirical cartoon with a talking dog that drinks camparies and smokes, and a baby bent on world domination is well and truely on my radar...
The musical sketches are far and away the funniest ever commited to screen, Seth Mc Farlaine (creator, writer and multi voice cast member) is a genius and frankly deserves a knighthood for his services to animated comedy...

Simpsons was better in its day but Family guy has more of an edge to it.

I don't mind Family Guy except for Peter Griffin. That character makes me want to puke and that is saying something as I can tolerate just about anything.
I love Stewie and Brian though.
