jazzmanlover: I have been one here a few months and found it one of the most frustrating sites . Its almost impossible to get a reply of any sort as the possiblity of chatting and meeting someone is frankly out of the question . On another site in one week i had two meeting organised one of which i have high hopes and an answer to at least 50% of my mails so i have to ask why people bother here

The Forum seems to be another matter , if you are in the clique thats cool but if not i wouldnt bother saying anything you will either be put down or ignored , im not saying this to annoy anyone its just a fact i have noted

I guess some can be lucky or unclucky Jazzman. I know people here who have been married or are in long term relationships because of this site. People's experiences differ I suppose. Either way hope you find success elsewhere.

The forums are cyclical and yeah there is a clique but sure that's life and you just leave them to it.

Best of luck with the contacts you have made beer

maybe you are saying the wrong thing in your mails dunno most of the mails i have sent on here have gone without reply but its just one of the things you come to expect on here or any site for that matter.

as for the forums, yeah theres a group of regular posters who know eachother but mostly through chatting on the forums. it can be hard to get noticed at times but you just have to keep posting. people on here a while are wary of new people as there have been a few old members who have come back with fake profiles just to cause trouble, of course not all new members are like that but we were all there at one point and knew nobody so you just gotta dive in and see what happens handshake
