No, some things are just too fundamental. I stopped having imaginary friends when I was about 5 and have no intention of changing back now.

I am a socialist and a secularist. While I could probably just about tolerate someone who went to church so long as it wasn't very important to her and she didn't try to involve me, someone who was deeply religious couldn't possibly work out I'd say.

I don't think anyone in their 20s being so religious is either natural or healthy. I hope for Katie's sake she grows out of it.

I agree to a certain extent.
AN exs family were born again christians...the sister in her early 20's was one of those lying in the aisles unable to move as she had been touched by the lord! That to me was freaky. 15yrs later and she is not like that at all. More active than most when it comes to Christianity, but once a week on a sunday.

If Katie's belief helped her succeed, then so be it. I do however feel it is a little odd that she professes it so much.

I would go further and say that while I still admire her greatly and feel she is a lovely human being,I feel let down by her ramming her religious views down my throat as a boxing fan and a well wisher.I was fully behind her for what she was doing for our country why did she have to try to alienate people like me by bringing religion into it?

pedro27: your a dickhead

Pedro you should pray for people and not try to force them into believing ....when anyone tries to force an opinion on another then the other will only dig their heels in further

..................thats human nature ..

and yes i hold deep religious beliefs ......

I pray for all heathens to be kept warm in the afterlife devil

The only reason a person should be a member of any religion is because they want to be, not because someone else wants them to be. Otherwise you are not doing it because you believe, you are just doing it to get your leg over.
