Anseo freisin.wave

We are playing the shiney suited ones, in the final of the O Byrne cup tomorrow night, and then we play some other crowd in Croke Park, in the first round of the league. I think they won some sort of competition last september.
Really looking forward to top division football against all the best teams, and I cannot wait to gain revenge on Cork, after their lucky 13 point win against us last year.uh oh

It should be interesting this year. Cork , Donegal, Mayo, Kerry, maybe Meath and Tyrone in there with a shout for honours. The Dubs have to be favourites to win everything this year, and they are really, really, really mad, after everyone in the country celebrating Mayo winning the 2012 semi.laugh

Hey there wave

Were you in Parnell Park at the weekend? I didn't see/read anything about it, but going by the scoreline I'd say it was a good, competitive game.

Hi everyone else wave

How many of us are going to the games at the weekend?

Hi Glen, I can't make the game this weekend.
We are hoping for a good display from Kildare, a few new lads on the panel/team who are playing well and shure we might put it up to the All Ireland champions.
Should be a great night of football, especially if the Dubs get their asses whupped for the second week in a row.

Hows it going. Hoping to make the second game on Saturday work permitting. I've gone to the O Byrne cup games. More than happy with how things are shaping up. Cork will probably be a step too far for our experimental team but the squad is looking very competitive. grin

Things are a bit slow here this year.....apart from Sky playing down Dublins chances and Stan looking for a "anyone only Dublin" victory laugh

For the record, I don't rate our chances in this game. We're suffering from an All Ireland hangover, just back in training 3 weeks and no first team player appeared in the McKenna Cup.

It'll still be good to get things back on the road though applause

Donegal, will take some beating.
However being A "True Blue Dub" my money is on Dublin.
As for a long range bet..........Mayo have a nice young team, and last years run did them good in the experience factor.

I would love to see a new winner, one of the lower teams emerge.

who ever wins, here's 3 cheers to the "Greatest Game of All"
