snowlynx: No, you should be arguing and fighting!
There's nothing like two women fighting, I love it.....it stirs something deep inside of me........so carry on!

pfft, only worth it if there is mud involved snooty tongue

and I hate fighting, but I do like to discuss and am not afraid to raise view points that might not always be comfortable.

anyway, back to getting high from paint fumes elephant

thumbs up so true

Only issue with online dating I personally see is the spacial distances it can lead to if you meet someone you like, and maybe that's the reason for shorter courtships, as there are often distance problems involved, and one then ends changing location for the other?

Dunno, but spacial distance can be annoying if you only want to meet someone you have come to like, for a coffee crying crying

Public places.
The thing though is.. what difference does it make whether it is someone from a dating side or someone you met while pushing your shopping trolley around? The principle is exactly the same, but for some reason we teat it differently.
I guess maybe because we feel the internet is a good place for psychos, but then again.. the internet is VERY monitored, as we well know. Contacts on the net can be traced, unless someone is really good at knowing how to avoid that. I mean, crimes have always happened. A former friend of mine, his cousin was kidnapped by a guy 30 years ago, he held her for a week, raping her, torturing her, and eventually killing her, and the parent's of a friend of mine observed a guy in the fog from the far on their walking the dog route, not thinking anything of it, then on the way back saw a puddle of blood. They thought he may had hit an animal or so, until two days later they read the papers and realized they had walked past a body of a girl having been dumped there.
That's two casses very close to my upbringing, so it has always happened, and these type of killers didn't need the net for it...
