Now, when you say 'painted', I take it you mean 'sprayed'? You sprayed the wheels black?

i decided not to spray them because ive never used a spray can before and found that i would probaly make a mess of it, so i painted them with 'matt black paint'' for alloys and steel. turned out well, next project slightly tinted windows

Hope it turned out ok. Did you have to do any prep work? Clean the wheels with a solution or wire wool them etc??Tinting isn't easy, in fact, its bloody frustrating! But, it can be done if you have patience! I have my two back windows tinted, they were grand, theyre static fairly flat windows, took a bit of time to get them right, but, they turned out grand. Two front side windows, different story, had them done but they weren't 100%, as these windows obviously go up and down so theres a bit more work involved, so, I peeled them off. Boot window.....haven't even tried!
You need to use a garage or something also, the slightest bit of dust or hair etc blowing in the wind that gets stuck to the film will show up, in fact, the slightest breeze will have the film blowing all over the shop and if it sticks together or creases then that's usually the end of it!
Basically, if you want it done right, bring it to someone who knows how to do it! Theres nothing worse than a bad DIY tint job that has air bubbles or peeling!
My babóg with 35% tint on the back windows (gotta keep on the right side of the law too!)

i sanded them down with sand paper and cleaned them spotless with cleaner, over all it turned out well.
i wouldn't chance doing tinted windows DIY, im getting it done professinally ive been looking on google for local lads that do it
so the car will have black wheels, black body, and black tinted windows.
