How funny it seems to see all those windmills turned off for much of the winter because the wind is too strong. doh

The giant variety the eco-gang have afflicted Ireland with are not at all suitable for this sort of wind. They can't even get a medieval technology functioning correctly doh

I would like to expand the topic in this response to take a more modern look at our options. First of all we have plenty of fossil fuel to last a long long time, so there is no panic there except for the eco-nuts who think that using coal, oil and gas is going to make the world go on fire. Secondly we need to understand that with the recent discovery of graphene our energy acquisition and supply is going to be totally unrecognisable in a couple of decades.

A thread of graphene one atom thick can conduct more electricity than that most powerful supply line on earth. It is stronger than any other substance yet discovered and is cheap and common. We can built 'elevators' into space and download unlimited free electricity from the upper athmosphere, if the current global gangs (governments) allow it. This is what we can have in a decade or two and yet here we are like idiots spending our time and energy building medieval windmills that don't even work doh

We really need to think about why we are so unable to think and what is wrong with out minds that we cling to the familiar even when it is clearly due for the bin.

Thanks for your comments everyone - very interesting.

Yes, I think we have to get to grips with new technology for our energy needs??
