Ladies
Is makeup so automatic to you, part of your daily routine no matter what you are doing. Do you have to put on even a light dusting of foundation and powder, lipstick etc just to go feel ready for the day. Would you ever consider going on a date without a full face of make-up

Men
Does make-up draw you to a woman. Do you expect women to have even light make-up on a day to day basis. What would think if a woman turned up to a date without any make-up

For the sake of my date's mental welfare, I would never go out without my face on - however, less is more. Using a trowel or being a rusty shade of orange just doesn't do it.sad flower

I think to many girls/ladies rely a little to much on make up. Sure we all like to look good but if you use it every day when do you look different or when do you feel special?

Great point. To me it seems make-up has become something that women use to cover up other things, like low self confidence. Its like a mask, used to hide the perceived flaws or inadequacies.

I agree with you there, I only use make up when going out.

Yes and no - I'm not talking full make up by any means, I never wear a full face of makeup anyway, as you'll see from my pics.

However, some women really plaster it on, be it on a night out or not, and that's never nice.

And I feel special every day.

Too much is a turn off

Most women dont need it its all in their head

whatever a woman chooses to do with her face is her business not for me to judge

I was talking to an old friend yesterday and she had
some kind of glitter around her eyes It really
caught the eye looked really well I thought

I wear make up every week day in work, take it off the minute I get in. Rarely wear it at the weekends.

Not a doubt it makes us look better if applied correctly, I like the ritual of putting it on if going out for the evening,

interesting, so if a girl turned up on a date, well dressed, nice hair but no make up, what would you think.

I think it makes them more attractive when they wear lipstick, eye shadow etc, and a good sense of fashion as well.

Nobody wants to date someone who dresses like Vicky Pollard laugh

that's cool, just wondering. Would you think a well dressed girl who doesn't wear make up has more self confidence than a girl dressed exactly the same but wearing make up?

I don't know to be honest, depends on the person I suppose.

There is no doubt that in some cases make-up does improve a girls attractiveness, and if that gives them more confidence then that's a good thing.

I wouldn't think anything.
I just answered your question that I think a woman made up is better looking than if she isn't made up!

Jeez Snow, I never notice such a superficial shallow thing as make up on a woman. roll eyes

What really matters to me, is a woman's inner beauty, personality and feminine attractiveness.innocent

It's a rare woman that looks beautiful without a little help - I have a friend who looks stunning and doesn't wear a stitch of make-up (queue for her details, please) but she is the exception rather than the rule.

Plus we get virtually no sun here.... a light tan means less need of artificial additives laugh

confidence comes from within professor

when we get attention for new clothes or a nice car
its temporary confidence
