I'm chatting to a girl from mallow abit now and would travel there which is about 47/8 miles to her
I am not too keen on long distance relationships. 1-2 hours is plenty.
Having said that, the fella I am dating is living in Dublin, but he enjoys getting out of there at the weekend, so it is working ok so far.

think its all down to the individuals as to what they are willing to do for a relationship, i had a relationship in the past with a gal from Dundalk, it was a 4hr drive back then before the motorways opened, all the traveling did take its tole in the end and after 8 months we called it a day One particular guy got very narky when I said Navan wasn't practical for me. know a girl here locally who is now after 3 yrs got engaged to a guy that lives in morroco, they get to meet up maybe every 2/3 months for a week or so and they appear to be happy & content with that, it wouldn't be my cuppa but it works for some and not for others

I travelled up and down to Galway for a couple of months and Cavan for over a year. I don't do Derry dating (normally)
