I am going to invest in a rain water collection system, a few buckets outside the back collecting rain water for the loo, thumbs up and I have already thought of a way of filling my kettle for free. devil

total bollix isn't it pedro...i've my own well so im not connected to the mains..not sure if i'll be paying any charge yet or not..I don't get off scot free..I pay for bags of salt for my water softener and other maintenance..I've a river flowing through my land too so I'll use that water as much as I can for toilets and the likesireland

Ah.. we'll have to report ya for that. In due time the rain that falls from the sky will be the rights of the Water Companies. And you'll get done for tampering with the water collection.... like one can be done in Europe or the UK for it nowadays.

Don't get me wrong, am anti water charges like everyone else. . . . But...

. Just at daughter s 2 bed flat in uk at moment ... She pays 160 pound PER MONTH council tax which covers refuse collection and general maintenance, added to that water is 30 per month ... And of course the usual suspects of elec and heating to boot.

So we can keep moaning but them charges are coming.

Anyone wanna share a shower?
