The family of a Dublin woman who suffers from Alzheimer's have appealed for help in locating her.
Pauline Lynch (67) from Dalkey in south Dublin was wearing a lime green coat and grey trousers when she was last seen earlier today.
Her daughter, Liz D’Arcy said she is extremely concerned as a special GPS tracker located in the lining of her mother’s handbag has been “knocked off.”
“Her mobile is also off at the moment. She has a GPS tracker which I put in the lining of her handbag but it seems it’s been knocked off,” she said.
“Only last weekend I had tested it. It has a SIM card in it and we can normally ring the GPS tracker and it tells us where she is on Google Maps.
“But this is the first time it hasn’t worked. It normally texts us the battery is low but we didn’t get any text so we’re thinking it must have been accidentally knocked off.
“So her phone is off and the tracker is off.”
Pauline is described as 5' 1'', of slight build with grey shoulder length hair.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dun Laoghaire Garda Station on 01 666 5000 or the Garda Confidential on 1800 666 111 .
Her neice Seána Ó Rodaigh also appealed for help on Twitter this evening.
