I gave up trying to boil the perfect egg.
Poached eggs are far easier, you can see when the white is firm and whip the egg out before the yoke hardens.

supposedly rushing home from work to have their Dinner/Cook their
Dinner. [Before everyone had Cars to hog up the roads to a near
Snail pace.
Bluebottles/Flies die on their backs coz they are impossible to kill
and are cute hoors.
The poor little Hedgehogs havenot adapted to their changing Habitat
[or lack of it ] and nobody taught them the Safe Crossing Code.

Awww poor little harry hedgehog. I saw on an animal programme once a hedgehog going for an operation. You could see his/her little heartbeating as it was under anaesthetic. Awww!
When I see roadkill I think, why didn't you stay on that side of the road where there was lots of fields and space? what made you cross the road!?

Bluebottles are more annoying, they're noisier! How could they die standing up? We can't do that either! Not that I know of anyway!

Nooooooo stanley! Don't say that! Yikes! I was feeling safe in the knowledge that they were relatively harmless and only put up with them as long as they stayed quiet and didn't flit about.
