Anyone here experienced the Camino De Santiago ? Have planned 2 weeks in September to walk part of it. I'm deliberately avoiding setting myself targets as to miles covered but would like to experience as much as possible.

I know a few people who have done it. The one who walked it all is the one who speaks of it the least. Another who walked less than half brings it up in any context with "when I did the Camino..." yawn

Go for it. thumbs up

I was in the city last July (Santiago). I didn't do the walk just stayed in the city. Gets very hot in July so I'd recommend doing it either before or after the height of Summer.

A wise suggestion. What did you think of the food?

Didn't think it was great. It was 'ok' but you don't really go to Spain for the food.

The food in the north of Spain can be delicious. If you like fish and seafood, it is heaven. They make great cheeses too. If you drink red wine, go for Ribera del Duero or Rioja. There are great local whites in Galicia.
