Protest at who or what? We all go to Gaza and form a ring around it and this prevents israeli troops killing us and solves the problem?
Peaceful protest is a failsafe idea that came from the government control system in the first place.Its allows people in opposition to governments to have their big song and dance under the illusion it can achieve something worthwhile when in truth they've just released a bit of pent of tension and feel good about themselves and get a big ego pat on the back from themselves and others furthering the illusion of achievement of postive change which has not actually occured.
The pent up energy has to be directed correctly and accurately in order to create a better world.

We have the power of refusing to buy products from Israel.

protest where exactly? the Israeli Embassy in Dublin? a lot of good that will do
I have to agree that in this case protest will get nowhere. The Israelis have accepted that it is their destiny to be disliked and misunderstood by the world at large so our opinion means nothing to them. What that leaves to be done, as a complete Peacenik, I am reluctant to say.

The power of people has worked before when people thought sure what can we do.
When I was in Krakow, I saw loads of American Jews in lines with their Yamulke and everything else doing the Ghetto tour in the Jewish Quarter. The irony was not lost on me... that years later after the events that happened there, they'd have created a sort of discriminatory state themselves.

i think it will only stop if the would stands to gather but that won,t happen whats going on in Gaza is wrong. and the Israelis use the right to defend self-defense thing is it may have the right to defense but not the right to kill woman and children

I always think u.s.a. Will stand bt Israel as alot of powerful Israelis in u.s.a. Well if everyone done their little bit I'm don't buy any of their produce and dunes should stop selling it .
