Yea,we have a huge amount of support for the Palestinian people in Ireland,it is because the over reaction and murder that is going on in that Country by Israel,and also the land grabs.
In saying that i personally do not agree with anyone firing anything at anyone,or the murdering of anyone.
The treatment of the Palestinians by the Israels though to me seems more than heavy handed,there Country is under Siege and the Blockade is still in full force.
As a neutral i just see the Israel as an aggressive State.(Bully's) even more surprising is why they would be like this and do what they do after what they went through during the 1930/40's.
Yes stop firing rockets,stop the murder,and also end the Blockade.
But very important don't kill innocent Children or even Men/Women in the name or cause for anyone or anything.
peachmelba: The Gaza Strip is densely populated,, ..why is Hamas doing what there doing ,,I don't agree with Hamas but if polititions would get together and try find get an understanding of why they are doing what there doing but none wants to give....land ...to the palastine s,,,seems like it go on forever with ceasefire s and never a lasting solution,,..Israel is one of the most powerful military powers in the world ...I think Israel need to talk to Hamas and allow for some kind of solution.

The palastinians are exposed to Israeli fireing rockets killing children and medical staff in hospitals where they are told bt the country that fired the rockets that it would be safe and then for an Israeli government official to congratulate soldiers after the attack took place,.yes they say we have a right to defend ourselves against Hamas ,and no more soldiers will be killed and they get away with it she confirmed...yes the rest of the world thinks yes of course they have a right to defend themselves and counter their terrosim under the authority of their government who know full well Gaza is densely populated and vunerable sick dying and nurses and doctors are fully exposed as they no where else to go..I think any civilised government would be doing their upmost to beseaching Hamas,listen enter in to a solution find a way forward.

We export circa 350,000,000 Euro worth of goods to Israel every year, now why would we want to go upsetting a good customer like Israel, because of a few scruffy little Palestinian kids getting in the way of a rocket or two.

I dunno Buffy, we can all make a contribution by refusing to buy Israeli goods, if enough people boycott Israeli products, they might just start to take notice. If you are on FB, search for a List of Israeli products to boycott page, and make your own stand. Spanish fruit is so much nicer anyway.
