My advice would be to keep on trying and maybe broaden your search criteria. There are lots of men looking for relationships.
I met a friend of mine yesterday, I hadn't seen for a while. good bloke in his late fifties, who has just got married to a lovely girl in her early twenties, and would you believe he met her in Thailand of all places.
So whatever you do, don't give up hope.

Yes I have to agree with what fillthemix Just said there,...About 3 years ago I met a ,overly man on the site plentyofish and he came over from Cornwall ,but the distance became a problem for me as I didn't expect him to be coming over all the time and I was busey with courses back them.....I would just say Kelly that you don't know till you try the sites out,,the majority may be just after the one thing but not all like that,,it is good to be upfront from the start and hopefully them too and just keep an awareness and open mind ,,go on your gut instinct it's usually the right one and just go with the flow and relax that way when you do meet someone at first it helps just to have a little in common and sur if the attraction is there and you click hey bingo....as they say you can't hurry love and so I say settle for abit of time to get to know someone.

My sis told me on facebook there are people to chat to for dating,,,and if someone likes you they give you a wink,, I'm not on facebook I never bothered but have you tried that too Kelly..?

I actualy got a message on here from a man that left the fire brigade where he worked with my ex hubby and under my uncle in the fire brigade,, I nearly died, But I was polite and wished him well. Over there in Kerry and told him I had someone so he wished me luck ,,yea nothing else he could say back with that and he kept his manly pride intact too.

Thanks everyone for the comments, have tried AYI on Facebook, have met some really nice guys, but chemistry has been missing, haven't gone on a date sine early May, dated one guy I met from POF for 7 weeks, I ended that in Feb as didn't see it going anywhere, enjoy being single most of the time. Was thinking of going on a speed dating night, say it would be fun, it's a lot easier seeing if there is a spark face to face ??
this online dating is new also to me im only on about 4 years just getting the hang of it now

My 16 year old neice told me that alot of teenagers won't go on facebook now because there all much older now,, It did start out generally for the teens and 20,s but it is good how even pensioners use it now because they like to chat to,,down in the ol folks centre where I recently worked. They got the computer in for them and they had a go at it ,,no not the dating site they don't need that enough flirting going on in centre with them,,
