be nice to your handyman always make him cuppa and a nice bacon sandwich with brown sauce ,chat politely about the task in hand and a smile and undo an extra button on your blouse or better still greet him in your night attire ,i can guarantee all work will be carried out swiftly ,oh and promise him a big bonus at the end of the job

Then I had Chorus in to add a second link in one of the bedrooms - can't be done, says he, I can't get the cable where you want it. Ended up telling him how to do it cos he couldn't figure it out for himself.

Yea it's great water the new wooden door I entrusted myself to do and did do took me 2 days to stain and then another two to varnish,,
It's all black and mildew at the bottom,,,the toilet is on a little box ,,I didnt need that either as my daughter has just mild cerebral palsy and dosnt need wheelchair ascess ,,,she is very mobile and independant that way,,,mind you the non slip tiles drive me mad to clean but yea they are the safer option ,,,safty first but by god these ones are beige or were beige in colour before,,lol....

Oh my shower is a good one itself got a triton t 90 in two weeks ago as heating went in the other one,,,no the water working great,,,,,I got a curtain around it ,,I think ill buy a plastic door,,

I've a house that was made in fifties,,,kitchen just 12 years old,,,that's cool
Just houses that were built back then were not built with women in mind,, small kitchens,,

Phoenix: I should be doing the same (house work) but it's not that bad. I still have clean cups in the cupboard and a few clean pots somewhere. Basically I'm good for a few days yet.

It's Sunday.. Day or rest and all that. I reckon I'll have to do something by Wednesday.. One of the benefits of living alone, there isn't someone nagging in your ear to put the cup back in the kitchen and rinse it after you've used it.

I did have a shower with a tray and sliding doors but now the drain is in the floor and tiled,,
What would I fit the the glass doors onto stan,.?

No it's the door that is wood,,.... Think this house me and ex hubby drove us round the bend when we moved in ,,,,but you don't think of it like that at the time,,
,Think we must have had late post traumatic stress,,
