I'm retired pleased to say,done my fair share of Christmas days.Some services are essential.Enjoy the day as it really is just another day at treble time 
i know what you mean, at least you can now relax and enjoy the season
i know the 25th is a special day to spend with family and friends
but when theres a uniform involved, then its
unsocial hours all part of the job.....
