peachmelba: Yea it must be the fear factor ,all that adrenaline pumping.

Actually, I did not feel any fear. Was strange. Felt very very calm, just mesmerized by that sound and something I sensed as extremely powerful, even though at the time I did not even know it was a tornado. Similar feeling to when lightning struck into the ground not far from me as a child. Did not scare me either, was just amazed and mesmerized then too.

I agree on the age as a number thing, but I was never particular keen on living at all, not a depression thing, hard to describe, has been with me since earliest memory, so no, I do not fear dying at all. Illness though, different matter. That I do fear greatly and wish for no one.

I love storms and lightning, but I can get scared too, if I have time to think. Just those two situations were very odd. What was happening sort of did not let me think down 'normal paths', I was too busy marveling. Every day rational thought somehow did not kick in, and I felt strangely protected too. Had that feelings also when my car ended spinning at high speed (120 km/h), heading for side barrier. Not a second of fear, even though everything appeared to happen in slow motion, plenty of time to be scared. Car miraculously stopped before it hit the barrier, just shot backwards along side of it. To this day I can not explain what happened via physics. Car should have hit that barrier, but it didn't. Can't say this with proof at hand, but definitely felt like someone was busy keeping me safe that night rose

The responsibility towards others can be what keeps one alive, indeed.

Tinypaws: @ Mauss
hahaha, yes, that would be my usual reaction too, but for some weird reason.. not in this specific case

Living in one building, ' Its hallways resemble those of a school or a detention center', I don't see anything appealing here.
Like MD said for the right price, assuming there's no daft dave in the building, I can see me doing my time there work wise.
Other than that no way.

Yes Indeed there are somethings that cannot be explained by science or common sense.

There was a higher power protecting you that night.

Maybe you yourself are free in mind to connect with the universe because you are not attatched to the material world so to speak.

Who knows tiny but you were blessed that night.

Ill say goodnight,

Wind died down abit now,,cosy listening to it when tucked up,lol.

It is not the building, it is the kind of community that seems to inhabit the place. It appears they bought it or had it handed over as a collective, and they keep it going as such, I assume. It is not a community held together by a 'cult', but by the necessity to work together in that harsh climate. I am a believer in that type of community, think that's how tribes once upon a time worked it too. Not like modern days, where we all toddle along rather detached from that type of community spirit.

Really would like to see the crime statistics there, incidents of domestic violence and what not, how it compares to our type of living. They do seem to have a police station, but maybe it is required by laws to have one? No clue, just find it fascinating somehow.

It's sweet, peach, to me a sign of an active mind, I hail that grin thumbs up

And I should sleep too, but will still be heading for some pvp with other night owls for a bit. Nothing makes you sleep as well as having annoyed some sith by pulling him or her back, right before they try cross the line with the huttball (and yes, I am fully aware none here has a clue what that means laugh)
