misconceptions or truths in media wildfires (28)

There is no argument that what is shown on one news network is soon, sporadically appearing on others all around the world.
These points of view soon take root and become a cultural norm for those in the populous who depend solely on this type of hype as their form of insight into global happenings. Should we be doing more to question what we see. What we hear, and most importantly how it makes us feel.

Here is one example of what I am speaking about.

Is Muhammad Ali, what we should all think of when we hear the words Islam or Muslim,

humanitarian not human-tyrant ?
What do you think..

heres an interesting article,
and please read the comments as well at the foot of said article,
some are very educational.

Peace my friends wine

all media sources have spin including alternative sources. listen to as many different sides to the same story to get a more rounded view on it. i have found some mainstream sources to be very biased though on certain things

Have a Russian girlfriend and she fumes
Every time she hears our medias translation
Of what Putin says, it's usually way off the
Mark of what he actually did say

That's very Interesting JT.
I watch a bit of RT but that's about it.
Politicians are the same all over the world. When ever I see a few labeling one I think..
"oh he must not be playing the economical ball Game"
I never think they have the best in mind as far as humanity goes.

Most of the media is owned by wealthy individuals with a vested interest in keeping the status quo. Any change is always looked at with suspicion.

Don't ever trust mainstream media, and overall, just be extremely cautious with info. Anyone can post about anything these days on the net, and when it comes to 'true stories' in women's magazines.. let's just say if a writer needs money urgently enough, nothing is sacred. It was one of my lowest moments to see that printed, but I had hungry mouths to feed! crying crying

Guinness is no longer Irish !
was it ever?

Being that Arthur Guinness was born into the Protestant Guinness family,
the land at James gate was rented from protestants and the money that funded it was donated by the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Cashel,

As Irish as the queen I say, So German by default laugh
