The salt and seaweed smell drifting in from the Irish sea on the approach to Courtown.
Childhood memories of swimming in the sea, building sand castles, wind breakers, fishing in the harbour, candy floss and fairground rides and a pleasant little country seaside town, sadly now somewhat ruined by development.
the strong smell of nettles. Any one else know that smell. That reminds me of a sunny day climbing a wall and on the other side was a forest of stingers.
