I find this site in particular more of a chat site, haven't been on any dates through this. From my experience most (not all) Irish guys want to hook up whereas most overseas guys want a relationship, funny that.
I'd definitely recommend trying out a few other sites for dating, I know of a few success stories
Lots want to hook up; some want to get their kicks through dirty chat/text etc; most don't want to wait or make the effort to actually date, they want quick results and lots want to just play the field on here.
Everyone to their own, personally I'd like to date someone whom wants to date one woman at a time and does not expect his leg over on the first date

Well, in my experience of online dating, the girl says "ooh I'm not that kind of girl blah blah blah I only want a serious relationship" and then takes all her clothes off in a fraction of a second. Whereas, I was thinking maybe put it out there after quite a while alone. And so it seemed like we were really after the opposite of what we thought we were, if that makes any sense.

If you are here to date, clearly that logically must mean there are others here for the same reason as you? But of course also loads for an array of different reasons. So it comes down to wading and weeding through it.
As this site is free, I'd assume you don't have a huge population of members only after serious relationship. Would think you'd find that more on paid sites, sort of seems to go with the territory?
