Let's GateCrash Each Other's Office Parties & WorkNights this Xmas (9)

I've got a questionable idea...
Let's All GateCrash Each Other's Work Nights Out, Office Parties and Dances / Pub Nights etc, this X-Mas season!

Post the details on this thread: where,when, how to get in...

(My last X-Mas 'work night out', was at a big hotel lounge bar...as staff we all had to pay/buy tickets....yet, the public was still allowed in! So, why shouldn't members of the 'public' be friends from CS?!?!)

It'll be genius...and a fun way to meet other CS-ers...

Also, means we'll all be able to maximise our social networking nights-out....criss-cross each other's staff parties!

At each evening, we'll keep bumping into the same CS-ers, so we'll be getting to know each other (no strangers here!)...and we can all introduce each other to our respective work-mates! (Avoiding any 'office romances' by dating each other's co-workers!)

Hoopla!

I know you probably think this is crazy....but wait a minute...
it IS crazy.....but it might JUST be crazy enough to WORK!!!

Dunno if there should be a separate thread for each city, though maybe this one thread is enough? (And have various events in different cities all posted here?)

When I get any info on what's happening when in Edinburgh, I'll post it here.

I suppose everyone will be sticking to their own cities (considering travelling and accom!) Altho my couch is free, only a two-seater but I'm told that it is 'sleep-able' & comfy enough.

...I bet those PTA folk down South get pretty wild once the tequilas start slamming...

Self Employment is all the more reason to gate crash a Crimbo Work Do...!

I think it's an excelent idea LavaLite, for those of us who love to do things on the spur of the moment and like a challenge! Travel and accomodation would be an issue though, plus kids need a sitter and plus I'm actualy very shy lol
