Yep, I was there, worked a few days, dealt with stuff, got a place - flew back here...packing...driving up. Hope to be there and have my stuff unloaded on the 1st. Start work on the 6th...and 
TaDa! It will be a pleasure to get together for jolt of java...once my head and my world stop spinning

Mover just called...will be here an hour earlier if "that is okay?" Why the hell not!
Just went to Smitty's for a piece of Lemon Meringue Pie - will miss that!
Went to Canadian Tire - wanted to buy a pink Jeep front tag...the kiddo gave me weird look so...
I won't push it! He's wishing we could just load a Hercules and fly on out now! Stress is kinda getting to us I think.

eyesthatknowwhy: In 15 days, I am loading up my son, myself and what the movers leave behind into our new Jeep and we are beginning our journey to Whitehorse. WE are both so excited, but have to say, dealing with alot as well. Going to visit my Granny, who is soon 94, and I know it may be the last time...knowing it will be awhile before I snuggle my little granddaughter...
But so much to look forward to as well, so many what ifs - kinda like your cake Curvy. So much emotion, just sort of leaves one feeling discombobulated!!!
Oh well, back to packing!!! Have a good night all!

Don't worry about anything! Worrying usually is only worth sleppless nights, ulcers, bad eating habits and high blood pressure!
I didn't even know you were in the process of moving....but I am sure that whatever decision you made, it IS the right one!

yes, the "cake" is just that....you are only given as much as you can take....we sometimes surprise ourselves as to how much we really CAN endure??? does that make any sense?? cause, it surely does to me

The load went good - funny when you are doing something like this, even when it is what you really want - it becomes so surreal and "stuff"! But it all went good! Weird how when our things are cubed together and removed from us "in mass" - for a short time, the sense of self is altered. (hmmmm. thesis topic?)
But, cried my eyes out (can be a good thing) - ate, talked to my man and regrouped. Slept like a dead log.... and today is a new day! And now we camp

right on some people say good ol gordy but there is a lot of people that say f##k old gordy,, human nature at its best,,, dammit i forgot my coffee of the other side of the room ,,,now ill have to get up the energy to go get itI do wish you well on your move - what an adventure! This could well be one of those things that you look back on with your son and say 'do you remember...' in later years. Everything will get done in it's own time and the 'what if's' can drive you wild until you're on the road. Even then it may well be like it's happening to someone else and you're just along for the ride.

1 sleep...think I got it pretty well licked! And but for the heartbreak of saying goodbye to our precious girl, I have this weird sense of calm...
