Maybe they are not getting married because they have raised their standards compared to what women put up with say 20 even 10 yrs ago.

My comment was from the female experience. No where in my post did I say ALL women nor did I say "no men" raise their kids on their own.
I have a lot of respect for men/fathers that step up to the plate to raise their kids as a single parent. Many women would be surprised how great some single fathers are at raising their kids. Not all men need a woman in their life to help raise kids, cook or do the house work. Problem with using a forum where you type, makes it hard to tell what tone is used.
My apologies for any offenses were taken.

My apologies also, I just thought it was a funny fact,maybe it's why i'm still single,the woman for me was probably hit by lightening,knowing my luck...lol..well,have great ending to the week end,you guys didn't get any snow the other day did you?

Got stuck in a storm on the way to Whitehorse last week. Expecting some snow with rain most of this week.
sometimes i think id rather get struck by lightening than get married again ....... but then i think oh maybe

First: it would probably light up my life, second: set the night on fire...( like Jim Morrison was saying ), you know...come on baby light my fire. Third: there would be no need for lights cause we would have the glow in the dark factor. And, they wouldn't even have to lower their standards.
