Now that it has snowed here, the feeling of christmas is starting to creep in. I plan to do some Christmas shopping tomorrow. Now to find the ear plugs, to block out that annoying Christmas music, playing over and over.
Actually, I am looking forward to Christmas this year.
My favorite things about Christmas are not the shopping, the giving/receiving of gifts, or the Christmas dinner. My favorite thing is spending time (even if its just a few days) with my little sister, I don't see her much anymore & I miss her.

yes its great set up lights tree and havnt finished shoppiny yet but wil get it done ,everyone give a hug to family and freinds thats whats its aboutNope havent even started yet
It's usually a quiet Christmas for me. Probably buy a turkey and enjoy having a few days off from work. Having a significant other this time of year would be nice too.

I hope you have a great visit. I miss seeing my family too and am hoping to have the opportunity to spend some time with them. That is what I'm missing right now too.
It will be wonderful to simply relax as well (at least for 1 1/2 days!!) ..... I'm looking forward to it.
As for shopping etc. I'm not doing so well on the department, my tree is up and I enjoy that when I get home from work. I'm in the mall 12 hour days right now - so shopping isn't the thing I want to do when I do have a quiet moment. I think I'll bake some cookies instead! as everyone has everything anyways.

Getting there ... it was a year ago this week I found out about Mum's cancer. Do have some shopping done, just got back from xmas pot luck supper at work and just not really enthusiastic yet. I'm sure with the clients at work, their enjoyment will build and I'll get the spirit from watching them.

Getting there. Got the decorating up shopping nearly done. Now comes the fun parts. Girls and I took pics last night out in the snow. We are baking this weekend then delivering baking following weekend. Definitely in the spirit. The delivering is the most fun.
