back around 1962 i wasw doing that at nite between dauphin and swan river and i got pulled over an yelled at by a cop and i did it after that too

Nights are nice but hard to beat the views this morning. Full moon still high up in the sky and bright with the trees all covered with a heavy frost and lots of snow. Nice!!!!!

Okay I will admit it, Tonight, I have just driven the last 7 1/2 miles home, without the headlights on. And I was driving at 60 to 70km/hr.

Yep, sure have! Used to drive by moonlight on the sideroads quite often(summer and winter). Thank you for bringing that memory to the surface

Miss scenes like this ever since moving back to the city. You can not imagine how beautiful it is ... with a full moon full moon, nothing can compare.
Have not driven with the lights out when going to Whitehorse with Brian, but have seen it, when we were stopped. Wish everyone could experience what Loner is writing about.

Hi Loner, Canada was playing USA, have seen good hockey a few times ,this was just one of them, crazy is what it was,them young kids can play that's for sure wow Canada won, YeahIt happens on a new years eve around every 28 or 29 years.

I was on my own on New Year's Eve and I decided to drive to a nearby field. The field is quite elevated and has wonderful 360 degree views all around the open countryside. I got out of the car, and celebrated the dawning of a new year underneath an absolutely stunningly beautiful blue moon! There were fireworks all around me in the distance, stars shining brightly everywhere, and 6" of crisp white snow underfoot, and to top this magical experience off...there were little UFO lights floating gently across the sky to the north and to the south! I couldn't figure out what they were, but they were so pretty. Someone later came up with the idea that they could have been Chinese Lanterns because whatever they were, they were being launched from two nearby hilltops. What a way to bring in the new year!!! Absolutely wonderful, and an experience I shall never forget!
