Life is like driving a motorhome over the edge of the Grand Canyon,...there's no way you're getting out of it alive, so you might as well enjoy the ride down!! (And remember in the next life, that regular brake maintenance IS important!)
Seriously, the first thing to do is get a small tub full of nice hot water and soak those cold feet. That might help. Make sure you have a cup of your favorite hot beverage,....drink it down and see what kind of "gut" feeling you get. That might help. Make sure the room is quiet,...no distractions,....and this is the most imporatnt part, listen to your heart,....really listen,....and if you hear it go,.."thump, thump,...thump, thump,...thump, thump",....its going to be okay. However, if you hear, "thump,.....thump, thump, THUMP,.....clunk, thump,......psssst, thump, thump,....." seek IMMEDIATE medical attention!
Its only natural to feel a bit scared the second time around,....but ultimately, the choice has to be yours! Good luck and much happiness!

Haven't been to the kk in years,...but I do remember the night walking up that in in a blizzard WAY too liquored,....
It must have been awhile ago,....the bypass by Steamboat on the Alcan didn't exist yet,..Last time I was up in YT was to help out with a forest fire,....gotta get back up real soon! I have a dear old friend up in Faro,...last I heard he was shacked up with some she-bear grizzly and was still looking for gold!

And so I have heard of the Yukon,...good life,....just too bad that all the gold is gone,....and silver,....and copper,...and zinc....just platinum left,....somewhere up near Old Crow,....got maps for sale,....cheap,..placer nuggets the size of my fingernails,....

I met the co-heart cancer survivor at a truck stop church across the line taking a load for someone sick. He is the nicest person I ever met, but he lit into me for having a cigarette in my truck upon a visit. Holy bejesus, I don't think much about that, plus he doesn't think much about starting a tourist business with me up North .. I like Jesus and all but I don't think my dog sled business for tourists via the kindest of Eskimos is going to sit right with a twist of Jesus in it, that would be his end of the business. I have felt more times than enough God has saved me from major hell on earth but my having the odd cigarette should not enter the equation whatsoever.

A cancer survivor doesn't need to inhale cigarette smoke, as he have enough problem trying to survive. Jesus is everywhere, so you don't need to worry about selling the dog sled business with a twist.
