Could it be??? daisy happy place daisy
After last years brutal never ending winter, I for one am hoping that spring is here to stay.......

My bathroom was covered in tomato juice splattered all over the walls and shower curtain last weekend when Radar came in after a visit with Mr. Skunk who came out of his winter sleep. My friend in northern BC said the bears are coming out early this year too.

Anyone else thinking spring is come to stay already???? confused
Any big warmer weather plans? We cancelled our ski trip rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing but I don't even mind if we can get out to the firepit early. yay

Since last autumn I've been hearing that we'd have a mild winter in 2010 but then our friend the famed groundhog forecaster Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on February 02 which means winter temperatures in 2010 will continue for six more weeks doh

Let's just keep our fingers crossed canada

here in the Okanagan Valley, grass is green, plus 12 & 14,
I don't think it will last,we will get another dump of snow just to remind us that winter has not left us yet.

OLD SAYING March IN LIKE a LAMB
OUT LIKE A LION confused

You know what they say about the 7 yr itch, same usually applies with winter. I believe it was 7 yrs ago End of March Highway #1 was buried in SNOW. The roads were closed for almost a week. Only route from Calgary was North to Alaska (oops I mean Edmonton)rolling on the floor laughing, then west to Jasper, south to Kamloops, then west to Vancouver. it was an eventful drive.

Don't forget that was the year of the HUGE FOREST FIRES TOO.

Ah yes, the year that Barriere almost became a ghost town. Was horrible driving through there for years afterwards. Still not the same.....
