This little family has been through so much and have overcome tremendous odds...only to be challenged once again. Thanks... Mom's cancer is back with a vengeance and Dad is still dealing with the affects of the strokes he had about 6 weeks ago.

Drs are hoping treatment will help stop the spread of cancer, and if really lucky, shrink it. At this point and time we do not know if it has worked. Mom is in lots of pain, but her sisters are here to be with her and that helps.
We shared another Thanksgiving, and she allowed us to prepare the meal. First time my Aunts cooked a thanksgiving meal. Now we hope she will be here to celebrate her birthday next month. Next goal will be for her to be with us for Christmas. Boxing day would be Mom and Dad's 55th wedding anniversary. I know my Dad wants her to celebrate that with him. We still are looking at each week as a gift. Suggestion.... Appreciate your loved ones, you just never know.
