I wasn't referring to you, or anyone else in particular in my comment.
Trouble seems to arise when someone makes thing personal and starts hurling personal attacks and insults.
You also have to keep in mind we generally have no idea what state of mind the poster is in when they post something. It's hard to judge text a lot of times because so much is lost without facial expressions and tone of voice.
I haven't found that to be the case in my opinion.
I have disagreed with people on here on numerous occasions, worst I have gotten is the odd half-witted remark about my hair or other such nonsense. I try to state my opinions in a respectful manner, regardless of what I think of the poster or what they have said to that point.
I do not post too often, however I do agree that everyone has their own opinion, it would be a pretty boring world if we didn't.........however........if you are going to post your opinion with insults directed to other specific people.....that is not an opinion, it's what it is, an insult. If you are going to be mean about posting an opinion, expect your opinion to be questioned in the same manner.
People will always remember someones actions, if that means that person may be outcast, I do beleive it is their own fault by far.
I have no problems with other people's opinions and concerns just as long as it does not bash or hurt someone's feelings. There are limits to voicing your opinions towards others.
Like I always say. In order to gain respect, you have to give respect. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
